needs, identify obstacles and sort out where to start on your journey
There are many reasons to schedule a Practice
Consultation, here are a few:
- You know something is
missing in your work life and you are not sure what it is.
- You can identify a specific
problem but are not sure what to do about it.
- You are thinking of
leaving the field and are not sure it is the right decision.
Your consultation can be done face to face, in
Melrose MA or Benicia CA, by telephone or E.Mail exchanges. Simply
call 781-662-6026 and schedule your appointment or set up your E.Mail
account. E.Mail accounts are particularly useful when you have an
important question or decision to make and want to get an expert
opinion or resource immediately. E.Mail accounts must be prepaid
to at least $125 on account and are billed in increments of 10 minutes
at the real-time rate.
The cost for a real-time practice consultation
is $125 for 50 minutes. Telephone consults are pre-paid. Face to
face consults are paid at the time of the visit. If at the time
of the consultation you decide to begin working on your Practice
Success Goals, Practice Development Coaching is highly recommended.

Practice Development Coaching is a sub-specialty
of Business Coaching. The primary focus of Practice Development
Coaching is to help you stay motivated and focused on your Successful
Practice Goals. All that is required is your desire to change and
a willingness to risk moving outside of your comfort zone. You will
be expected to take time to set goals, commit to taking action,
learn from your mistakes, and celebrate your successes. Sessions

What is a Coaching Relationship Like?
A Coaching relationship is not psychotherapy, psychological counseling,
or any type of therapy nor is it a substitute for these services.
If you or your coach ever feels there is a need for professional
counseling or therapy, it is the responsibility of the client to
seek a licensed professional who can provide these services. If
the coach believes that such services will be valuable to the client,
the coach will recommend them.
How Does Coaching Work?
Practice Development Coaching is done over the telephone. The client
calls the Coach at a pre-arranged time and telephone number. Coaching
sessions are pre-paid and cancellations must be made 24 hours in
advance. There is no refund or credit for cancellations made less
than 24 hours prior to a scheduled session.
What if I Want to End the Coaching Relationship?
The Client or Coach may cancel the relationship at anytime. If your
Coach for any reason believes they are not being as effective as
they believe they should be for the client, the client will be given
two weeks notice and be given three new resources. Cancellation
must be in writing by either party, by fax or E-mail.
Is What We Talk About Private?
The Coach recognizes that the Client may have future plans, business
affairs, customer lists, financial information, job information,
goals, personal information, and other private information. Your
Coach will not at anytime, either directly or indirectly, voluntarily
use any information for the Coach's own benefit, or disclosure,
or communicate this information to a third party. Communication
by E-mail may not be secure and archives of E-mail communication
may be subject to electronic interception or may be kept by third
parties (such as Internet Service Providers, ISPs) and is subject
to court orders.
What Does Coaching Cost?
Coaching requires a commitment from you and your coach. Your coaching
time is scheduled and kept open specifically for your use. Thirty
(30) minutes of E.Mail feedback or material review or design is
included at no extra charge for every coaching client. A 30-minute
introductory Practice Development Coaching session is offered to

different levels to accommodate your needs:
1. Individual - $250 Monthly -Two 60 minute calls per month or four 30 minute calls.
2. Groups* - $350 Monthly -Two 45 minute calls
3. Maintenance or Additional Calls - available at an hourly rate of $175/hour.
*Groups for 3 or more in a team, up to 10 participants.
PAYMENT PROCEDURE: The Coach is paid in advance

How Do I Get Started?
Every new Practice Development Coaching client
is sent a start-up packet to be completed and returned before your
first session. Your coach tracks your goals and progress as you
move through the change process. Getting started is a three-stage

Decide on the coaching format that makes the best
sense for you with your coach during your first session. You can
work one of two ways, by phone or in person.
Phone - You phone your coach at a predetermined
time after completing the materials in the introductory packet.
It's as simple as that.
In Person - Schedule a regular coaching session.
This time is held for you until you decide to change it. Bring your
introductory packet to the first meeting.
Send in your check or make arrangements for credit
card billing prior to your first session each month. This retainer
will confirm your sessions. Prior to each call or meeting, E.mail
or fax your coaching Focus Form (this is included in your introductory
packet) to help focus and structure each call.
